Property case in fasttrack court

Hi Law Experts,

A property dispute case has been filed in session court and the hearing are getting postpone every time since 2-3 year.

Want to know, Can the property dispute case be moved to Fast Track Court? If yes, Could you please suggest the process so that I can request the same in next hearing.

@ Mohd. Taheer,

Sessions Court do not have jurisdiction to entertain or adjudicate any civil case, please recheck.

Fast Track Courts are created to deal with certain specific situations such as law and order and not for vcivil case(s).

What does your lawyer advise?

I apologize for mentioning wrong court. Its actually a Senior Civil Court.

Does it mean the Fasttrack courts will not entertain Property related cases?

Yes, fast track courts are ment for some specific purposes

In Tamilnadu the fast track courts have been abolished and renamed as additional district judge's court. Just because your case is going on in a snail's pace, the case cannot be transferred to such courts.  A case filed before the jurisdictional court will be tried by the same court only until it is transferred on an order made on a transfer petition due to some allegation.  The property suits will take long time, you have to go by the court.
