During British Raj also mayors of Madras and other cities were getting more than their couterparts at Newyork and other cities.

MPLAD funds' commissions too should be added. Mr. Satya Prakashji in one of his thread had nicely  observed that only Politicians and Govt. employees are true Indian or son of the soil, other's are step sons.

Had they performed their duties/reponsibilities, that amount would have justified? But with the situation prevailing it is utter waste.

Price Of Democracy.

Sir,

What you have given is known expense, what about the hidden expenses. Well our constitution mandates the qualification for an M.P.  Your word ( allegations ) stating that No qualification should be errased. No harm in a person who have no educational qualification in becoming an M.P., No harm in spending for him. The main point it that whether he is doing his duties as an M.P who has been chosen to represent the people of the consitutency he belongs. The major answer is No. If he does his duties, we are the richest and the super Power nation in the World ( unshakable ).

Mr.Raj Kumar Makkad Advocate,

What's the objective of posting this thread especially when every body knows that policy is always above law.  The point I am trying to make is we all make fool of overselves at the time of electing our representatives and what's the fun of moaning and groaning like this.

THE BEST PLACE TO POST THIS THREAD MUST HAVE BEEN UNDER THE OTHER HEADING RATHER THAN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW.

Regards

Daksh
