Can you provide me some information regarding how your night allowance is calculated in your company or what is the industrial trend in your state regarding workers and supervisors.
As far as staff category employees are concerned, the allowance would include refreshments,food and the transportation by cab / auto to his residence after the work. And the applicable overtime rate.
As far as workers are concerned, the applicable overtime premium as per local laws, refreshment allowances, allowances for food, transportation allowances as per company policy need to be paid.
But while asking them to work overtime, pls ensure necessary permissions are obtained from concerned authority. Also ensure that the total working hours does not exceeed the legally prescribed limits.
