Rejected loan application

Hello,

I submitted a personal loan application, and it got rejected. I submitted all the documents they requested. All of them are attested copies. Now that my application got rejected, I asked the bank manager to return all my document copies. He said he doesn't have to give back any of them.

Are banks supposed to hold the document copies even after loan rejection?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Issue legal notice through a local prudent lawyer for return of copies of your documents which the bank / financier cannot retain after rejection of loan application as stated by you.

In case they have rejected loan then how do you expect them to lose the evidence on the basis of which lona is rejected.

Have you givne any original?

None of it was original. It was all attested copies. As Dr. JC Vashista suggested, I went to the bank with a local lawyer. I got all the documents.
