Acceptance of further evidence

Dear Experts of LCI,

Kindly clarify the following:

1. In a criminal case of forgery, cheating etc, 2 Proseqution Witness (PW1 & PW2) out of 5 are over. Whether the Complainant (PW1) can request the Trial court to close the Proseqution witness with 2 witness only as the case is filed with authenticated documenary evidences having more weightage?

2. In the above same case, whether the Trial court will accept any further documentary evidences (apart from those already marked by PW1), during the subsequent stage of trial?

Thanks & Regards,

Deepthi

What has been marked that is final, no more submission of evidence now.
