Good evening to one an all................well im very glad that such kinda forum is available for lay people to understand and get correct information regarding the Indian law.....i hope i get valuable inputs too.......io met with an accident in the year 2005 with a four wheeler.....and soon after my accident that is after 10 months i got Rs 25,000 as initial relief from the four wheelers insurance conmpany(new india insurance),After 6 years that is in the month of feb 2011 they had an out of court settlement where all the accident victims were called and were convinced for an out of court ........when my turn came i agreed for an out of court and i fot an amout of a 1,05,000...............and everything seemed ok.....i asked my lawyer hjow long will it take for me to reciever the check he said it wud take 04 weeks.......its already 2 months now...........i still dont see my check coming..........i called the lawyer and he doesnt reply.................im a li'l worried coz i owe a few people some money and i was hoping that i get this check and pay them off....................could u plz tell me how long it normally takes and wht shud i do now ...even my lawyer is of no help...................plz guys can u plz help thnx
