Hello Sir,
We are blesed with a baby boy last month and birth was registerd by the hospital itself. However, at the time we did not decided on the name for the baby. When I tried to obtain the birth certificate through online (https://www.chennaicorporation.gov.in/online-civic-services/birthCertificate.do?do=ShowBasicSearch), I'm getting birth certificate without name. Could you please let me know the procedure to add name to certificate.

The procedure is simple, you have to file a notarised affidavit with two gazetted officer's signature, but atleast you have to visit the office of Birth Registrar (may be located in Municipal/Corporation office or search in goole for address) once for getting prescribed formats and to acquaint with procedure. As Birth certificate is more important than any other thing, give priority.
