Buying flat allotted by Slum Clearance Board – Chennai

Hello Experts,  

I am planning to by a flat. This flat was allotted or gifted by Slum Clearance Board – Chennai to the concern seller.  

My concerns are:-

1. Buying such flat is safe?

2. If I buy such a flat, can I register the flat with my name in Sub Register Office?

3. Is there any chance in future the seller or Slum Clearance Board or government can cancel the Sale Deed?

4. Any other issues?

Can you please clarify me on this subject?
