Can a unmarried daughter claim for father's property ?

Please let me know , if a unmarried daughter claim or demand for partition of father property along with her siblings ( brothers ) , we are 3 children to our parents . Do all three get equal share ? I am not married yet, can my brothers or my father object it ??

If it can be done , which is the best way ?

Whether the property is the self acquired property of your father, you cannot ask him for any share during his life.  He can do it as he wishes.   But if the property is ancestral then you can claim for your share.

If it is your father's own and absolute property then even your brothers cannot claim any share in it as a right, at least not during the lifetime of your father.

Children either married or unmarried can not claim any share or division of their father's/mother's  self acquired property  during their lifetime.

If the property is a self acquired property of your father you can not  claim a share  on it .  If it is ancestral the  situation will be different.
