The is a difference betwenn

"holder of a chedue"

and

"holder of a cheque in due courre"

Pleease engage a lawyer only who can explain you this differene.

Since cheque bears your signature so it will be presumed that it has been issued against legally enforceable debt or liability,  you need to rebut the said presumption by cogent evidence.

You may have to challenge the false case on the basis of evidences in your support and on merits.

You may discuss with your lawyer in detail and proceed as suggested

"My belongings including blank signed cheques were left at home after I married a girl against my will."

The facts, as posted, are less than convincing. Please post the complete facts.

I married a girl against my step mother and father's will. So they didn't let me come inside home.I left all my belongings at home and staying separately.
Later my father filed a case against me in police station stating that I didn't clear my father's debts.Police harassed me to sign on documents wherever they say I lodged a complaint in SP greivance stating the same. Still police continued harassing me and send constables to get me to station. I was taken by them and made me signed on documents under severe pressure.
Now my father is using that document and my blank signed cheques and lodged a case in court
How to prove my innocence
Please help me

Lodge police complaint and follow up the case , the same will be handy if they go for cheque bounce cases.
