i do not recollect any law giving right to a central government employee to be posted in his home district.

no such law....but pls refer to the rules applicable if any to ur nature of job in ur department.

is thier any common criteria for the central gov which decides initial posting of the selcted candidate or it is differ from minisrty / organisation?
