Could chat be treated as evidence in divorce case

I recently confronted my wife of chatting with unknown numbers, after the discussion I came to know she was chatting with her male college friend .

I told her to show me the chat to which she replied that she has deleted it and blocked the number since the guy was now bothering her.

She was in multiple relationship before marriage too and I am sure something is still going on since she goes away to her parents home for months.

Can I file for divorce because it has became unbearable

You can file divorce case on the grounds of mental cruelty citing this as a prime reason.

However you may have to prove the mental cruelty with documenary evidence

The facts posted, in my opinion, are nothing more than assumptions and presumptions and hence,  do not constitute cause of action for seeking divorce on the ground for cruelty.
