My husband is a salaried person.
We took possession a year back and recently the society has been formed.
According to them, since we have a garden podium attached to our flat ( 8 flats out of 144 flats have a garden podium attached, they were forced to buy by the builder with just an allotment letter paying 20 lacs extra for the same)
we will have to pay Rs 1000 pm extra for water usage. So monthly we will have to shell out Rs 6,000/pm for maintenance which seems to be on the higher side.
We stay on the 1st floor, so we dont say that since we dont use lift we will not pay the high electricity bills used by members living on higher floors.
Argument seems arbitrary.
I seek guidance here on this forum ove rthe issue.
Pls suggest. It's difficult to cough up Rs 72000/- per year towards maintenance.
Please advice.
