Farmer from up buy farming land in maharashtra?

Hello,

My Dad has farming land in UP. But we now live in Maharashtra and want to buy farming land in Maharashtra.

My question is:

Which states can my dad use his Farmer status to buy farming land in?

Your father can use his farmer status of UP in Maharashtra and can purchase farm land as desired there.
