full time employment of advocate

Hi everyone,

can  an advocate work full time with charitable trust without canceling his enrolment?

 

what will be the penalty or legal action bar council can take if found that enrolment is not canceled??

 

pls. answer...

Helo,

 

You being a lawyer this question is really surprpised me.  Read Advocates Act, 1961.  You need to surrender you sanad to the State bar council where you have enrolled.  Even law teaching by the practising advocate is allowed in UGC granted college is allowed upto 3 hours a day.
