Help in understand "dismissed for non-prosecution"

We applied for quashing, but case now shows "Dismissed for Non-Prosecution"

Also, our advocate is cheating by saying our case is has some movements.

Can you please tell me what step should I take? Does "Dismissed for Non-Prosecution" mean the case is over completely? Or is the case not valid?

Case is going on in high court.

Dismissed for non protection happened lower or High Court? Is this civil or criminal?
