How to cancel power of attorney(sell property)

Hello,

Please let me know how to cancel Power of attorney given already by  A to  B to sell a certain property.

Do they go to the sub registerer office- and both sign the stamped paper document which states that the POA No.123 given on this date is cancelled.  Then the register office register the document in the system and give them the new document ??

Please help.

Thanks,

Rama

If it is a registered POA then you may revoke the same as you have already mentioned or if it just notarised then you may revoke it from the notary who verified your affidavit.

Rama,

POA given by A to B  can be cancelled by  Execting Revocation of POA, with reasons thereof, and register it, and issue notice to B, that poa is revocated, and publish in News Paper that yu cancelled POA, and nobody should deal with B for the property mentioned as per Scheduled below---

You may inform notary / registrar accordingly with copy of revocartion of POA.
