The agents are duty bound to collect and deposit premiums as per the agency contracts of few companies.
Therefore when you raise complaint the company shall investigate and may ask some of their staff to call you/meet you.
You can call helpline number of the company and majority of the companies arrange pick up of premium by corssed cheque/DD.You can opt for ECS. Change of mode is accepted 1 month before the policy anniversary ( due date of next annual premium payment)
Some of the companies have kept offline staff/agnts who get some inentive on collected premium.
You can lodge complaint to change the agent.
It it is LIC, you may complain to BM with a copy ot CRM, under receipt( Customer relationship management) or direct to CRM. You shall get faster reslts.
IRDA has envisaged guidelines for agents.If you have decided to correct the agent,You can approach them.
