lawyer gets any problem in his personal life, yes,he also has to engage a lawyer. or elese he can directory argue his case as party-in-person.

just like a doctor who can't do surgery for himself..he needs another doctor.
I believe most of lawyers personal problems solved outside the court as they know exactly the delay and consequences of the issue going to happen in the court.
