We have in our organisation introduced contract agreements with the employees for 5 years. Within 5 years no employee can leave the organisation within 5 years from the date of the bond or otherwise have to pay Rs.2.5 lakhs as compensation to the organisation. This bond/contracts are made on simple Rs.10/- non-judicial stamp papers jointly signed by the employer and the employee.
HOW LEGAL IS IT? SUPPOSE A EMPLOYEE STOPS COMING TO OFFICE WITHOUT NOTICE AND LATER GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS JOINED SOMEONE ELSE, WHAT SORT OF LEGAL ACTION CAN BE TAKEN AGAINST THE EMPLOYEE?
