Lawyer fees

Dear Folks,

Help and suugestion is what I need right now. I have a situation where I feel that have been taken for a

a ride . The case that I have is a Family divorcee case which has not been yet resolved. I did hire a

lawyer to whom I have already paid Indian rupess 20,000 and nothing significant has taken place

so therefore I plan to change my lawyer so someone else. But now when I spoke with her she is now

demanding and extra 30,000 to release the paper . There is not set amount that I have signed on the vakalat

nama. Let me know if it fair to pay her the extra amount.

U may complain to BAR counsil, the appropriate forum for lodging a complaint against such a counsel is the Bar Council.

The other thing that why did u surrendered original or important documents to your counsel.

If the papers are not so important then u may leave directly, before selecting next enquire throughly and be careful.
