Good Morning
1) My lease agreement for 11 months has been completed, and now my owner has asked me to give 20% rise which was not in agreement nor discussed. What is the resonalble amount as per Chennai rules.
2) As per earlier agreement there was two months notice on either side, now I plan to give her one month notice and shift, is it ok, should I given it in writing.
3) There is a chance that the owner will withhold the month for two month with increase rent, if so do I have any protection and ways to recover the money.
4) Can she turn off electricty and water..
Please advice on this.
