I don't think it will present much problem.

But, just to be on the safer side, since your passport is a major document with a different spelling from all of your other major documents (aadhar card, credit/debit cards, pan card,) I'd suggest you to have your name spelling corrected in the passport, for which you will have to visit your jursidictional passport office and file an affidavit as per their instructions, or you may have to apply for reissuing your passport.

Better deal with it now than to be facing any possible hurdles in the future.

Yes. If you get your passport reissued with a new name, it won't have any effect on the visa, which will stay valid till its expiration. Only make sure that while you are travelling with that visa, you carry both your passports with you (old one and new one.)
