No settlement after relieving

A Teacher worked in a self financing school for a week. As the working hours at the school is from 6.45 AM to 6 PM, the teacher has tendered resignation citing health issues.

The teacher was relieved with the original certificate which was submitted to the school at the joining date. But the teacher was not given any salary. Can the teacher claim the salary? What's the procedure? Thanks

If her resignation was accepted and relieved as per their own rules, then she is entitled for the arrears of salary till the date of her last working day.

You may send them a legal notice demanding the same, failing which you may plan to file a suit for recovery of arrears of salary
