I have appeared interview for SBI Bank PO and submitted a declaration at the time of interview that I will submit NOC from my current employer(Delhi Govt).
I have applied the same when I filled the SBI online form and also informed my current employer but now my current employed declined to give me NOC after the interview and saying that SBI PO application is not forwarded to SBI through proper channel. when i said there was no need to forward application form to the SBI as It was a online form and then they said that you first need to forward a request that you can appear in SBI PO exam to us .after that we would have evaluated whether you can appear or not.in that we would have given you a NOC.
Neither me nor the colleagues working in my dept was aware of the procedure.
Now I am selected as a SBI PO and I can only able to produce relieving certificate and no dues certificate from my current employer,Would it be fine for my joining formalities ?
What reasons should i give to Bank since i am not able to produce NOC
