Notary

Hello everyone!

Can anybody tell me that is it necessary to notrized an agreement on the same date when it is signed? or can it be notrized at a later date?
where can i find the legal provisions regarding this or any case law.

Thanks

Notarisation is the act of a notary public authenticated by his signature and official seal, certifying the due execution in his presence of a deed, contract or other writing, or verifying some fact or thing of which the notary public has certain knowledge hence technically Notarisation must be done on the same date an instrument proposed to be notarised has been executed. Otherwise the Notarisation would not serve the purpose sought for.

For details on Notarisation please refer to Notaries Act 1952 read with Notary Rules.
