Respected experts,

chargesheet has been reported to court under sections 420,406,467,468.

and during investigation has per complainant influence, IO(who transffered ) wrote charge sheet saying that legal heir of the property,owner of the property without any documentry evidence...Recently we have approached higher officials and higher officials said to recpective police station to send details regarding chargesheet.

Now new IO read chargesheet understood that previous IO gave False report

I want to know that police can Modify charge sheet? or anything else? or they can report court

PS: trails are not started yet.

Is the report given to the Court after completion of investigation? Or else, the new IO can rectify the errors. Even otherwise, the Court has powers to direct further invstigation in terms of Section 173(8) CrPC.
