Prohibited relationship

Dear All,

Recenly I got married to one my distance relative and for this marriage her uncle (unsupportive) has claimed that our marriage is under prohibited relationhip and he ia making big issue in our society. This marriage was with concent from girl and her widow mother..Finally her uncle did not support for our marriage and we did temple marriage from my side (boy side) and we did at my home as per cultural and ritual basis at my home..At our temple marriage also, KANYA DAN was carried by her maternal uncle and aunty..After marriage we both moved to our woking place and staying hapily..

Her uncle is crating lot of probelm in our society and with my mother in law (widow) that we got married in a prohibited relationship..Now he is telling that our marriage is NULL and VOID and he has complain in police..Police has asked to go to court and now we are going to court..

I explain about relationship: My mother and my wife's grand mother are from same father (but different mother)..because my maternal grand pa had two wife..

In otherwards, my wife's grand ma is my aunty (my mother's sister)

Please suggest if our relationship is under prohibited relationship..
