I am wirting with regard to the above subject. My wife's ancestral property is located in Karugambuthur (Vellore District, Tamilnadu). My father-in-law has given a piece of land to my wife which is located next to a cemetry. There has been no internment from the last 40 years in this cemetry but there are exiting graveyards next to the land. Due to this our property is not getting sold. I want to know whether there are any legal means to remove the graveyards next to our land as there have been no burials in the last 40 years and there is a desginated burial ground outside the village now.
Please advise.
