Rectification deed

Hi,

I am planning to buy a property in Bangalore(BBMP limits) which has physical dimension of North to south - 40ft, East to west-30ft. However, in the document it is mentioned as North to south - 30ft, East to west-40ft. What wiil be the rectification deed stamp duty for this to be done?

Thanks in advance

Stamp duty is a State subject, which differ from State to State.

It is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/ documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding.

The registered rectification deed to rectify this error will involve stamp duty and registration charges.

The stamp duty and the registration charges may be enquired locally.

If you have not bought it yet then you may ask the vendor to rectify this error before selling it to you.
