Regarding leave and license

Dear Lawyers,

I have a query regarding L & L which I hope you can help me with.

1. I am entering into L & L Agreement with Landlord for 11 months in the city of Pune.  The license fee is Rs. 8000 per month.

2. Licensor suggested that if I am ready to pay the total license fee in advance then I need not pay any security deposit.   I agreed to this condition.

3. He has asked me to pay 8000*12 = 96, 000

The way I am understanding these clauses is as follows:

3. The total period of license is 11 months which means I can stay in there for 11 months and then the 12th    Month is treated as notice period for which I am paying the license fee in advance.

Kindly clarify if I am right or wrong.

Thanks in Advance,

-Habeeb

To advice this point it is needed the read over the said Leave and Lisence Agreement. You need not have paid advance money,if the landlord revoke the lisence before the agreed period, you have to face the problem to realise the lisence fees.

your licence fees are for only 11 months . although you are paying 96,000 / agreement specifies that period is only 11 months .

please pay rs 88,000/ only as per month charges are Rs 8,000
