Dear Learned Members,
One of my friend who is a employee of Public Sector Bank was suspended due to departmental enquiry against him. After the enquiry, charges against him were quashed and court passed order in his favor and ordered for reinstating him to his original position. Is he entitled to salary arrears for the period of his suspension? If yes then under what provision?

during the period of his suspension, the employee is paid with allowance known as “suspension allowance” or subsistence allowance. The suspension allowance which will be normally less than the salary of an employee.
