Dear All,
If any body knows how shares have to be split while depositing TDS on property. Situation - property transfer in which there are 2 transferees (husband and wife, property will be registered jointly) and 2 transfererrs (husband and wife, joint owners). If the entire amount transfer was done from one of the transferees to one of the transferrers. Is it correct to split the total TDS amount (60,000/-) into 4 equal amounts (15,000/- each) and deposit tds using 4 form 26QB's (for each unique buyer-seller combination).
Help from any experienced advocate/tax consultants/those who have successfully deposited TDS on property recently is highly appreciated.
