dear sir, my father has given 50%share to me and 50 % share to my nephew.(my bro's son) by will in a property situated at nasik.soc has transferred in our names. to avoid future complication my nephew wants to transfer his share to my wifes name by way of sale.value of 50% share is 10 lacs.
pls advise, do we have to pay transfer charge? it is actually a internal understanding.
society says they charge one lac to transfer. i also requested them it is only 50% of share which is being transferred.
