Voice recordings from personal phones are valid evidence

Want to know one of a police officer is asking bribe from us and we have recorded his voice in our mobile phone. The conversation recorded does not happened on mobile it was face to face conversation and voice recorder was on. The voice quality of officer is not clear but quite audible.

The officer is asking money in code words like '2 loonga' or '1 loonga' or '4 goona lagenge'. Want to know do these voice recording stands legally in court of law or any departmental enquiry can take place against that official?

if the recorded sound quality is poor and the police officer is speaking on which matter is not clear then it will not consider and admissible as an evidence u/s 65B in the court , you can make a complaint of his before his senior police officer and convince them in that recorded conversation he is demanding bribe from you .

We have made complaint in the Vigilance department of police with all the recordings on 25-Apr. The culprit officer is an IO in our case and was asking bribe from us. How can we request vigilance department to take quick action and change the IO in our case. Also is it possible to get the case transferred to any other police station???
