WHOM TO SEEK INFORMATION UNDER RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT,2005

IF IN AN OFFICE THERE IS NO POST OF PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER, THEN WHOM WILL I ADDRESS TO SEEK INFORMATION IN THAT CASE??

You have to just write "Public Information Officer" and the address of the Office. It is mendatory for them to appoint PIO and display and if not, the senior most/in charge will authomatically becomes PIO.

As Per RTI ACT, 2005 in every office has option for PIO / APIO.

YOU CAN ALSO PROCEED YOUR RTI APPLICATION ASSISTANT PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER , AS PERRTI ACT, 5 DAYS WILL TAKEN EXTRA BY THE DEPARTMENT.
