The working hours of the women are regulated by the respective Shops & Establishment Act. Certain States

have relaxed the working hours for IT Sector subject to specific safeguards like providing transport to home with escort. Please attachment compiling the working hours state-wise (major states)

Each state have their own regulations on this subject. kindly note the recent observation by the Hon. High court  on the issue of permitting female employees to work in the Bar hotels after 21.30 hrs.

As per the Factory laws a women employee should not be made to work in the establishment after  7 pm in the  evening
