138 n i

Hello, Well, the problem is reagarding cheque issue. cheque got bounced and according to that we sent notice to them on dated 6th july of 2012. and day after tomorow we got Acceptance Receipt from Post Office on dated 8th july of 2012. The problem is that, Due some misconception, we considered date as 18th of july instead of 8th july and couldnt lodge case within time. The time period is already elapsed. so is there any way to get us out?

Dear Rohit

You can file 138 N.I. Act complaint  in court if you prove that sufficient ground for dely. But remember dely must be sufficient.
