I understamd that the procedure for adoption. However, a small hinge in this is where will be the jurisdiction. Say the adoptive parents live in Bangalore and the child to-be-adopted is in Uttar Pradesh, then which shall be the Jurisdiction? If Bangalore, then can the Dutta Homa be performed in Uttar Pradesh? And how long is the normal procedure for this adoption process?
