Hi,
Per my organization, maximum leave permissible as per act are 22 Earned Leave and 7 Sick Leave which are lesser than various applicable shops and establishment acts (Punjab, Karnataka and Mumbai).
Also the carry foward limit of leave is 22 as against 30 and 42 as permitted by shops and establishment acts.
Per legal team, there is no penalty / punishment and leave limit and carry forward permission as per various shops and establishment act and limits are based on company policy.
Can you please suggest if there are any penalties / punishments against maximum leave permissible and carry forward? Please share relevant act reference as well.
