Can a married son get job

My Father was working at the post of sanskrit teacher in dept. of education of punjab. He expired on 26th aug 2011. We are two sons left behind after him . One is aged 30 years (married), another one is of 28 years (married). my mother passes claim to me for job. Can i get dependecy certificate which is one of the document needed for job on place of my father.

I would like to ask you friends, that is there any provision or job benefit or even a job, would be about to be given to us on the place of our father. If possible then kindly refer me to any rules or regulations or any such source where I can study about the job benefits after death or it's conditions etc briefly.

regards,

AMIT

How 28 yr and 30 yr sons are dependent. Have they not earned so far. What are the liabilities of the deceased. How much terminal benefits. All these are valid factors for determination of claim.  It is not given straightaway. There is nothing called "job in place of father". Govt service is no inheritance. It is only a concession to consider dependents of deceased employee in 5% quota of Gp-C/D posts meant for direct recruitment. The family if deserving case, can nominate one person for a petty job within reasonable time provided they can adjust in the 5% share and there is no poorer complaint.  On the face of it your claim appears to be very weak one.
