Dear Sirs,
Here is a weird problem ,kindly let me know your opinions.I am a committee member (Legal cell) of a trust that was formed in 1989 -The trust is religious in nature and has been functioning since 1989 .The trust is 12A exempted and has numerous affilliated churches under it.Over a period of time the affiliated churches -worshipers of these affilliates (who are beneficiaries of the trust) were with the permission of the trust allowed to open bank accounts and transact business ,Now, over a period of time these affilates have enough money to buy a piece of land and put up a structure for worship.
Heres the problem -Now on whose name would they register the property? Can the beneficiaries be allowed with the permission of the trust to form their own local registered bodies-Trusts or Societies -Is it legal????
Note:There is no mention of this is the trust deed.
Thanks in advance !!
Rgds,
Paul
