Can there be a case - tikona

Worst Service Ever - Tikona

My Tikona customer id is 1109235708. My connection was facing packet drop problem, they promised about 100 times that they would fix this in 24hrs. This is the first ISP of the world that cannot even fix packet drop problems. This company charges in advance so my money of about 15 days was completely wasted over that, the bad service I had to face which also affected my work.

I decided to withdraw my connection as they were not doing anything, so within my billing cycle I asked them to disconnect my connection. They said that they need some more time to fix this problem for which they will not charge anything for the problematic period and also will refund the previous paid amount of the period I faced problems in.

Connection was disconnected in next two days but the company sent me the advance bill i.e. to use for next whole month which I am not going use even if Tikona was the last ISP of this world.

They are sending me threatening emails and calls. This is not merely a matter of money or inconvenience but it is the matter of a fraud and bully company.  I want to file a strong case against them. I have proof of false billing and other problems against them. Please Guide me how I can legally teach them a lesson so that this company cannot do fraud against other consumers.

I want know, from their side if there can be case or not.

There are many threads on M/s Tikona.

Do you have details e.g. Date, time, phone numbers, name of CCE, collection agency etc of calls made by you and received by you and complaint numbers?

Did you record the calls?

Did you have acknowledgment to disconnect the connection?

Go thru TRAI guidelines available at its website.

--- Broadband connection go thru:

QUALITY OF SERVICE OF BROADBAND SERVICE

(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2012

( -- OF 2012)

And also FAQ:

https://www.trai.gov.in/Content/faq_subcat_details.aspx?id=74&qid=1&link=0#175

Provide all details to your lawyer and lodge complaints as already suggested by Mr. Raghvan!

Consumer courts can now once again decide consumer complaints.
