Cancellation of appointment after giving appointment letter

Dear Sir

I was workiing with Bank of Baroda as an officer and applied for the post of Manager at  PNB and got selected and after all the written and interviews in which I have shown all documents in original and submitted the copy of all documents.  I recived an appointment letter from PNB on 12.03.2012 and after giving the acceptance of the same I have resigned from Bank of Baroda on 19.03.2012  and as per my bond I have to serve 3 months notice  and accordingly I I got an extension from PNB till 2nd july 2012. Further I requested for the waiver of the 1 month notice period at BOB and my request was accpeted and got releived from BOB on 26.05.2012 and on 28.05.2012 I recieved a letter from PNB that my candidature for the Post of Manager has been cancelled as I donot meet the eligibility criteria of Post. On visitng there  was informed by them that My MBA degree which is a basic qualification for the post, is not valid.Sir, I have done MBA from IBS Gurgaon campus of  ICFAI university, Dehradun and Bank has view that ICFAI University is not allowed to give the degree to the students who have enrolled in the centers other than its Dehradun campus. However ICFAI university Dehradun is a UGC approved Private university. Please guide me in the matter on urgent basis. I will be very thankful

Degree of ICFAI Gurgaon isnt recognised and the same is displayed on the AICTE website as such there seems no possibility of any relief to you.

Infact you should have atleast enquired about the legality of the MBA degree before getting yourself enrolled and consulted the AICTE website.
