I filed complaint in Consumer Forum where I claimed to have visited office of opposite party four times towards prior reconciliation efforts (though in reality, I visited three times). After due notice to opposite party, the case is proceeding in its Absentia. Now while filing evidence Affidavit I wish to apologise to the forum and wish correct my mistake, by stating to have visited opposite party three times (with mention of dates & corresponding time). Is it advisable to do so at current juncture or this amounts to scoring self-goal?
