Documents not available for Property

Hi, Dear Sir/Madam, We have an ancestral property in Bangalore for which we have lost or misplaced all the documents and even we does not have any xerox of the same. We are collecting the monthly rents from the tenents. The property is not assesed for taxes and does not have any munciple number either.  The documents are missing since the death of our father in 1970.  Now my question is how to get the certified copies of the title deeds without having any detail of the same?  Kindly help me.

Thanking you in anticipation of an early response, with best of regards,

Mukhtar

Bangalore.

you will get the CTS No: of your properties so file an application for certified copies to the sub registrar/senior registrar to get the certified copies.  If you don't know the CTS No: also you will get it in the muncipality.  You have to say the ward No:, area and name of the owner so you will get the CTs No: on that base you can apply for the certified copies.
