father-son propery issue

Hi all

My friend (A)has a problem. He was only son of his father(B)-mother(C). My friend has got Love marraige against his father will. He was leaving sepertealy from his father for a quite long time about 7 to 8 years. he  has two kids.

my friend father  has two propeties, which one was purchased by him, and another given by his father(D), which he has constructed an own house on that and also some cash in hands.

His father relatives are very keen on his property are advising him to change his assets  using will document or via  gift document. or any means using the indian law terms since he was seen his son for a quite long time.

If such things happen , will my friend will have rights to own the two properties and cash which he has lend for his relatives.

Please advice.

now itself your friend can file a suit for his share in the ancestral property.

As rightly suggested by Mr. Arvintham you do have a birth right in the ancestral property. However your father has all the rights to dispose of the seperate or individual property as he likes.
