Flag this message How to fight against the dowry allegation

Hi All,

One of the allegation in FIR/CHARGE SHEET is that, "we given Rs 50000/- cash and 5 1/2 tulas of gold as per the accused (A1-A4) demand at the time of marriage".

I am just preparing how to contest this allegation?

1. There is no documentary evidence (like photos, bank slips from where cash withdrawn)

2. It is not disclosed what ornaments were made with 5 1/2 tulas of gold.

3. In her first complaint it is admitted that we given Rs 5000/- cash  and 5/12 tulas of gold at the time of marriage (but it is not disclosed whether it is a condition for marriage or they voluntarily given...etc and it is not disclosed to whom they given).

4. We celebrated marriage ceremony and we spent Rs 2 lacs for marriage.

How I can contest the allegation  ""we given Rs 50000/- cash and 5 1/2 tulas of gold as per the accused (A1-A4) demand at the time of marriage"." using the above points.

Thanks,
Masthan
