Can someone help me out the verdict of a case related to forest encroachment?
The case is someone encroached upon the forest land for cultivation of Rubber or tea plantation. when asked to vacate the land he refused and a case was filed. In the verdict, HC has asked the person to pay a penalty of some Rupees per acre of area encroached per month, till the land is vacated.
The case is mostly related to some south Indian States. Some one can give me the case number or verdict copy it would be useful.
