Help me to tackle greedy brother-in-law

Hi,

I have a problem and I don't know If there is any solution for it or not.

I have a brother-in-law who is taking my mother's pension. He brainwashed my mother's brain. My sister is also helping him.

Problem, is My mother is a diabetic, heart patient and have a part of kidney damaged.

My financial status is not good.

Problem is they are using my mother and will not take care when she will need.

She is living with me and If someday she will fell ill and hospitalised, how will I manage the expenses, I don't know.

I don't want a single penny from her pension, I only want that she keep her pension in her account, so that anytime she will need it , it can be utilized especially the medical expenses.

I have talked to brother-in-law and sister but they are not listening to me. even my mother is not listening.

After all, as a son, society will blame me at the end , if I will be unable to pay her nedical expenses.

My financial status is such that I have no savings.

My mother is getting 6000 monthly pension.

Is there anything I can do?

thanks

hi,

Is there no one to advice me , what I can do and what I can't do?

your query is based on predictions..this is your imagination that they WILL not take care of your mother when she is ill. They may be or may not be..this is not a legal query till your mother is alive..You can take help of elder relatives to make your mother agree to help you financially.

what?? this is my imagination?

My father died about 8 years ago. I was in chennai at that time. brother-in-law and my sister was staying in my house, even then when my father was critically ill. they left for spending holidays.

It took two days for me to come from chennai to lucknow. my father died crying while my mother was unable to do anything.

also, now when my mother was with them in their house, she was ill . they admitted her in govt. hospital and left, they even not came again to ask abt her health those days.

even now you will say it is my imagination?

and about her money, she can keep it. I don't want money at all.

I have one advice for you: learn English and learn to type. Another free legal advice: make more money

Edison,

Be kind and courteous. Learn that first. I cannot really be a judge of your english skills but you are a mean human.

Mahendra

Ask your mother to stay with you. Also she is master of her property and can spend it however she wants. All you can do is convince her. Have you thought about insurance ..it might be a cheaper alternative if anything important arises.I think all you can do is talk to your mother.

P.S I am not a lawyer.
